Spencer, Veronica K., 88, of Levittown, passed away October 25, 2023. Reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband William J. Spencer. Loving mother of William J. Spencer Jr. (Deirdre), Barbara Tedeschi, and the late Kathleen Ronan (the late Roger). Cherished grandmother of Colleen Kaminek (Robert), Shannon Schmidt (Eric), William J. Spencer III, Christopher Spencer, Ryan Ronan (Kiera), Taylor Cappadona (George), and Tori Tedeschi. Adored Gigi of Logan, Gage, Molly, Zoey, Ethan, and one baby girl on the way. Dear doggy grandma of Darling. Predeceased by her siblings Valentine Seiffert, Clara Seiffert, Henry Seiffert, Helen Mazurek, Patricia Milazzo, and Robert Boldt. Veronica was a dedicated parishioner of St. Martin of Tours RC Church for over 30 years, and had a deep connection to the Blessed Mother. She and her sister-in-law, Pat, had a special Sunday tradition of attending the 8:30 am Mass, sitting in their "assigned seats", and then sharing breakfast together. She was the easiest dining companion, no need for anything fancy, McDonald’s, Arby’s and Jersey Mike’s would always hit the spot. But when it came down to dessert, she was very specific, loving her Friendly’s Hunka Chunka Peanut Butter Fudge. Veronica was the matriarch of her family, and was the glue that held everyone together. She was loving, kind, caring and loyal. Veronica’s family was the light of her life and it was important to her to be included in all aspects of their lives. Veronica loved things that would shine and sparkle, just like her. Whether you knew her as Bonna or Ronnie, she will be forever missed. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, November 1st, 4-8 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Thursday, November 2nd, 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Interment following at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Veronica’s memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, www.jdrf.org or the Make-A-Wish Foundation, wish.org.
