Sarita Donald

Donald, Sarita, 95, of Farmingdale passed away on November 23, 2022. Dancing in Heaven with her beloved husband of 53 years, Charles. Cherished mother of Glenn, Debra, and Nelson. Adored grandmother of Kenneth Knutsen (Elizabeth Cabrera-Knutsen). Predeceased by her loving siblings Jesus, Joseph, Wilfred, and Eulalia. Treasured Aunt of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Proud Spanish Professor for Molloy University for many years. Devoted Parishioner of St. Kilian RC Church for over 66 years. Sarita had a beautiful soul, she was vivacious, kind, generous, loving and honest. She never ever said a bad thing about anyone and was truly loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Sarita had a beautiful gift, she was able to talk to anyone, she loved asking them questions, sincerely taking in all the information she was being given and loved getting to know the person. She enjoyed music, watching old movies and going to Verona for dinner. Sarita was an amazing cook, everything she made was from scratch. Nothing meant more to Sarita than her family and she treasured every single moment spent with them. Funeral Mass Monday, November 28th, 11 am at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment following at St. Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Sarita's memory to the American Cancer Society; cancer.org.
