Parisi, Santa M., 97, of Bethpage passed away April 10, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Loving mother of Diane Parisi-Vecchione, Joseph (Catherine), Donna Bravo (Dennis) and the late Camille Bolster. Cherished grandmother of Jayson (Mimi), Kristian (Lisa), Derek, Chad (Dawn), Andrew, Anthony (Jackie), Dina (Eric Miller), Joseph (Breann), Stephen (Cathleen) and Daniel (Nicole). Adored great-grandmother of 21 and great-great-grandmother of 2 and one on the way. Dear sister of Gloria and Louise. Treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews. Santa was very devoted to her Catholic faith, going to Mass every week, praying the rosary daily and when she was unable to attend, she watched Mass on TV. She was an avid reader of mystery novels, reading one to two books a week. Santa liked scratch offs, the lottery, gambling, cooking, the color green, Italian food and her "chocolate milk", which was really Bailey's. In their younger years, Santa and Joseph enjoyed going on road trips together. Santa will always be remembered for her great sense of humor, her rational voice-of-reason advice and her infamous line, "Did you eat?". She loved spending time with her family, and she looked forward to their weekly pasta and gravy Sunday dinners and her Sunday brunches with her sisters. Santa's family was the light of her life but her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren were truly her world. The family will receive visitors Thursday, April 13th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Friday, April 14th, 11 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Bethpage. Interment following at Calverton National Cemetery.
