Schlitz, Ruth E. 96, lifelong Bethpage resident.  Passed away April 14, 2021. United in heaven with her beloved husband, Frederick.  Predeceased by her parents, Hans and Kathinka Haugen.  Loving mother of Jeanne Schumacher (William), Frederick Haugen, and Susan Virzi (John). Cherished grandmother of four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Millie Butler.  Family will receive visitors Sunday, April 18, 2-4 and 7-9 pm, at Arthur F While Funeral Home, Inc. 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Religious service, Pastor Eric Olsen presiding, Monday, 10am, at the funeral home, with internment following at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
