Obituary
Alvarado, Rose Marie, 94, of Bethpage passed away November 24, 2022. Beloved mother of Roxanne Ong (Ken) and Adele Alvarado. Loving grandmother of Christopher Ong, Jonathan Ong, Andrea Ong, Sara Ong, Adrienne Larson (Dan) and Alex Goetz (Christina). Cherished great-grandmother of Nicholas Ong, Benjamin Ong, Evelyn Ong and Benjamin Larson. Rose was a longtime active member of Plainedge Church. She was also a volunteer at Plainview Hospital (now NYU Langone) for many years and worked at Bethpage Before School and After School Programs. Rose was a fabulous baker and an enthusiastic cook (unfortunately, she never wrote down her delicious recipes, leaving her daughters to scour the internet trying to replicate them). She was also a skilled seamstress. Memorial Service Saturday, March 25th, 11 am at Plainedge Church, Stewart Avenue, Bethpage. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc.
