Whalen, Robert P., "Rob', "Buck", 59, of Bethpage, passed away on May 16, 2021. Beloved son of Susan and the late Robert P. Cherished companion of seven years to Camille. Beloved brother of Susan Hughes (Timothy) and Kevin (Cindy). Dear uncle of Lauren, Jillian, Allie, Brooke, and Jake. Devoted Dog Daddy of Jagger. Rob would give you the shirt off his back. He was one of the good guys and a hard worker who never missed work or cashed in on vacation days. He was funny in his own quirky, off kilter Kind of humor - you could not help but laugh at the way he saw things -and expressed himself. He loved animals and creatures of all kinds. It was love at 1st sight when Camille and Rob rescued Jagger the Pittie. Rob and Jagger had a special bond. Jagger would never left Rob's side while he was trying to heal from Cancer. Rob enjoyed spending time with friends, watching college football and the Dallas Cowboys. He had a passion for fitness since he was about 10 years old, he was strong as an Ox and very dedicated to his 600 daily push ups and weight lifting regime. Robert was a loyal, kind, honest, goofball with a dry sense of humor, who was always making people laugh. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, May 16th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F.
