Fisher, Robert R., “Bob”, 75, of Farmingdale passed away on January 18, 2023. Beloved husband of 51 years to Maria. Loving father of Jennifer Clark (Richard), Robert M. and Heather Scimone (Nick). Adored "Papa Bob" of Richie, Lizzie, Joey, Emmy and Maxwell. Dear brother of Jimmy (the late Eileen) and John (Ann). Treasured uncle of many nieces and nephews. Longtime parishioner at St. Kilian RC Church, attending Mass every Sunday. Bob’s family was his top priority and he loved spending time with them. He treasured making memories with his grandchildren, playing in the pool, reading them books, playing the fishing game and playing bat and ball in the backyard. When his children were younger, he was very involved in their extracurricular activities. He coached baseball and was a Cub Scout leader for his son and was a true “Dance Dad” with his daughters, driving and picking them up all over and being the first person in line to buy tickets to their shows. Bob gained the nickname “Mr. Kodak” because he was always prepared with his camera and video camera, never missing a moment, where other parents would reach out to him for copies. He always loved dining out, traveling and spending time with his wife. Bob was extremely sentimental, capturing every single moment and holding on to things that held value to him. Bob always anticipated family trips to Lake George and going to Yankee games with his family. Robert loved to be in his backyard, he liked watering his garden, watching sports on the outdoor TV and relaxing by the pool with a Heineken in hand. Bob was a huge Yankees and Giants fan and enjoyed watching Fox News and reading history books. Bob will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. The family will receive visitors Friday, January 20th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 21st, 9:30 am at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment following at St. Charles Cemetery.
