Robert N. Dittmeier

Dittmeier, Robert N., 60, of Farmingdale, passed away July 21, 2023. Loving father of Sarah Dittmeier. Cherished son of Robert and Marie Dittmeier. Beloved brother of Tom and Michael. Dear uncle of Matthew, Marc, and Michelle. Bob graduated from Holy Trinity Highschool in 1980. He continued his education at Pace University in White Plains, earning his bachelor’s degree in sports writing. Robert was the editor for the Holy Trinity and Pace University’s newspapers. Bob loved sports and chose the perfect career, so work never felt like work. Throughout his career, Bob’s articles included some of his favorite teams, the Islanders, Yankees, horse races at Saratoga and most recently Major League Baseball. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, July 26th, 4-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Thursday, July 27th, 11 am at St. Kilian RC Church.
