Silveri, Nancy Jacinta, a longtime resident of Bethpage, peacefully passed away at the age of 86 on September 14, 2021. Nancy was strongly devoted to her faith, her family, and immensely proud of her five sons, their families and her Italian heritage. Her favorite memories were of times she was surrounded by her large extended family, sharing meals and well-told stories. She loved every holiday and hosted great parties, especially Christmas Eve. She had a vibrant, fiercely independent spirit and worked hard to provide for her family throughout her life. For many years she was a Crossing Guard and Clerk for Nassau County Police – 2nd Precinct. She worked well into her 80’s as a property manager for an apartment complex in Farmingdale where she enjoyed hosting events for residents. Through the years her love of travel included many trips with her family to Italy. Nancy was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her sons and their families: Robert and Tanya; Frank; Christian and Marianne; Joseph and Lisa; Mark and Noreen, her grandchildren Taylor and Dan, Frankie, Gus, Tony, Lucy, Nathan, Michael and Karson, great-grandchildren Addilyn and Colton, her brothers Joseph and Angelo, and sister-in-law Connie. She was preceded in death by her sister Viola, brother-in-law Giulio, sister-in-law Paulette and her parents Frank and Lucia. Funeral Mass Saturday, September 25th, 10:45 am at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment following at St. Charles Cemetery. We request that those attending the Mass and the memorial be fully vaccinated.
