Nocerino, Michael A., longtime resident of Bethpage passed away unexpectedly at the age of 70 on October 25, 2023. Loving husband of 48 years to Diane. Cherished father of Michael (Carmen Presneau) and Kristina (Nico Agrusa). Adored grandfather of Michael. Dear brother of Lynn Sczakolczay (Steve). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Retired NYPD Police Officer for the 1st Precinct. Mike enjoyed life and knew just how to have fun, making him the person you would always want to be around. He was loving, caring, loyal and had a pure heart of gold. Michael was happiest when he was outdoors, he loved being in the sun, hunting, fishing and being in the ocean. His family has had a house in Monticello, NY since he was 9 years old, so for over 61 years, Mike and his family have made endless memories there. Mike was very talented, knowing how to do electrical work, construction, and auto mechanic work, making him a true “jack of all trades” that could fix just about anything on his own. He also loved to cook, just as much as he loved to eat, bringing home today’s catch, making sausage, meatballs and so much more. Mike also loved his wine, his favorites being Vino Rustico and of course, his own homemade concoction. Most important of all, Mike was a family man, and his family was always his number one. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather and will be truly missed. The family will receive visitors Monday, October 30th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Tuesday, October 31st, 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Cremation Private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Michael’s memory to The American Kidney Fund, kidneyfund.org.
