Selhorn, Lisa, 72 of Bethpage passed away peacefully September 21, 2021. Beloved wife of almost 50 years to Paul. Loving mother of Paul Jr. (Jennifer) and Kristina Gillespie (Michael). Adored Nannie of Britta, Mikey, Abby, Patrick, Sean and Paige. Dear sister of the late Robert "Bobby" Duffy and sister-in-law to Robert "Bob" (Helen), John, Joan Gusz (Larry) and the late Richard. Cherished aunt of Cagney, Britta, Ryan, Eric, Chris, Greg and Kevin. Proud Dog Mommy of Sophie. Lisa had a presence that could not be overlooked. She was friendly, outgoing, funny, truthful and most of all beautiful. In their younger years, Paul and Lisa enjoyed traveling on cruises, even cruising to London. They also traveled around Florida, to Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Paul and Lisa couldn't visit Pompano Beach without visiting their favorite Irish Pub, Briny's. Lisa had an affinity for birds, accumulating an abundance of bird houses and feeders. Which made buying holiday gifts easy because everyone knew exactly what to get her. She loved to eat at BK Sweeney's in town and have an occasional margarita. Lisa's life revolved around her family, and she was happiest whenever she was with them. The family will receive visitors Thursday, September 23rd, 7-9 pm and Friday, September 24th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Saturday, September 25th, 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Entombment following at The Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury.
