Lillian Nigro

Nigro, Lillian, 87, of Bethpage passed away on March 29, 2022. Predeceased by her parents, John and Adeline Nigro and sister, Mary Matlack. Beloved Aunt to Linda Ballance. Loving grand-aunt of Lindsay Ballance-Vogeney (Chris) and great-grand-aunt of Dylan, Zakary and Dominic. Devoted friend to Carole Ann Catapano and Patti Kraft. Lillian was known as "a women before her time" due to her work ethic, fierce independence, strong will and brilliance. She retired from Grumman after 25 years, participating in their rifle team and gardening club. Lillian proudly served on the Board of Directors for Central Park Estates for over 15 years. She enjoyed puzzles and John Wayne memorabilia. The family will receive visitors Sunday, April 3rd, 1-5 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Monday, April 4th, 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Entombment following at St. Charles Cemetery.
