Bissonnette, Joseph, 80, of Bethpage passed away on October 30, 2023. Beloved husband of 56 years to Margaret. Loving father of Karen and Nancy Ponzini (Dan). Adored grandfather of Katie, Brian and Sean. Dear brother of Helen Kanciruk, Dorothea Bartlett and predeceased by his four other sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joseph was quiet, upbeat, hardworking and inspiring. He had the ability to fix just about anything, he enjoyed woodworking, computers, growing roses and tomatoes in his garden and tending to his Aquarium of tropical guppies. Joseph was a dedicated family man and had a special relationship with each one of them. They made many unforgettable memories on family vacations to Lancaster. Joseph taught his children and grandchildren many life skills that they will carry with them forever. The family will receive visitors Thursday, November 2nd, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Friday, November 3rd, 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Cremation Private.
