Obituary
John J. Mulcahy, Jr., 59, of Bethpage passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2023. Beloved son of John J. Mulcahy Sr. and the late Ann Mulcahy. Loving brother of Patti Ann Tarantino (Thomas) and Michael (Lisa). Adored uncle of Andrew, Isaac, Alex, Gabrielle, Brianna (Eric) and Jenna. Cherished great-uncle to Dax. John was a graduate of Bethpage High School and Saint John’s University. He enjoyed competitive swimming and received a swimming scholarship to college. He was also a life guard for many years. John’s professional career ranged from working as a police officer to working in finance on Wall Street. He enjoyed watching college and professional sports. He most enjoyed spending time with family and friends. John will be missed dearly by all those who knew him, but he is in heaven with his Mom now.
