Sacchitello, John, of North Babylon, formerly of Bethpage passed away unexpectedly at the age of 61 on August 29, 2023. Beloved husband of 23 years to Valerie. Loving father of Danielle (James Sprung) and “Dog-Dad” of Delphine. Adored “Dog-Grandpa” of Motley. Cherished brother of Marie, the late Anthony, Philip (Dara) and Michael (Julie). Also survived by many nieces, cousins, and friends. John was a passionate artist, creating beautiful sculptures and murals. He was a man of very few words, but he used his artistic abilities to speak for him whether that was through art or by writing letters. John put a lot of thought into his presents and loved making beautiful art for his loved ones. When the weather was nice, he would bring all his art supplies to the beach where he would spend the day making beautiful masterpieces. He was drawn to painting and sculpting eagles, dolphins, waterfalls, and ocean scenes. John enjoyed watching scary movies, golfing, going to Top Golf and always looked forward to Sunday family dinners with homemade sauce. John’s proudest accomplishment was being a Dad, and the relationship that he and Danielle shared was unlike any other. He will be forever missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Memorial Mass Saturday, September 2nd, 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in John’s memory to NAMI, National Health Alliance on Mental Illness; NAMI.ORG. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc.
