Jean Botoska Obituary

Jean Botoska was born on May 8, 1930 and died at home on August 26, 2021, at the age of 91. Jean was preceded in death by her sisters Margaret “Peggy” Chazen and Elizabeth “Betty” Nelson. Survivors include her children Keith Botoska, along with his wife Mary Ann and their children Brianna and Julianna Botoska. And her daughter Nadine Wallace, along with her husband Jack and their son Jack. Jean was the beloved aunt of 10 nieces and nephews. To know Jean was to smile. Though her body was small, her heart was enormous. She volunteered for The Salvation Army, and helped children learn to read in NYC Public Schools. She loved greatly and will be missed terribly. Cremation was private. Funeral Mass Saturday, September 4th, 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Jean's name to either one of her favorite charities; The Salvation Army, https://give.salvationarmyusa.org/give/164006/#!/donation/checkout?amount=Other or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html?sc_icid=header-btn-donate-now.
