Genoy, James Patrick Jr., of Tabernacle, New Jersey, raised in Farmingdale, New York, passed away after suffering from coronavirus on December 11, 2020 at the age of 58. Beloved husband of twenty-eight years to Lisa. Devoted and proud father of twins, James Patrick III and Carly Nicole. Loving son of James Patrick Sr. and the late Anne Marie. Cherished brother of Mary and John (Cara). Honored godfather and uncle of Ryan. Graduated from St. Kilian Elementary School, Farmingdale High School, and Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy. In his thirty-three-year tenure with Monroe Savings Bank, Jim was President & CEO and served as Board Member of the Bank. He also served on the Boards of Bankers Cooperative Group and New Jersey Bankers Association. As a sports aficionado, Jim played baseball, basketball, and football, coached youth baseball and soccer, and was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants. Spending time with family was Jim’s greatest joy … family gatherings, travel, sporting events, jet skiing, white water rafting, bowling, and watching movies together. This and more, Jim leaves a treasure-trove of memories. With a heart of gold, signature laugh and larger than life personality, those who knew him, and even casual acquaintances recognized him as ‘the coolest guy in the room.’ Though Jim’s life ended far too early, he will remain in our hearts, without end. For the safety of everyone during the pandemic, there will be a private viewing at Arthur F. White Funeral Home and Mass of Christian Burial at St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, Farmingdale, NY for family only on December 19, 2020. Interment following at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on a later date. Donations in Jim’s name can be made to Westierescue.stardonor.com.
