Devoted wife of predeceased Michael, mother of Louis and predeceased daughter Mary Ann, grandmother of Melanie and Martin Hoops, Amy Denby and Krisssie Cornwell, sister of Joseph and Rose Morocco, son-in-law Martin, great grandmother of Michael Hoops, Jack and Annie Denby, daughter-in-law Ellen, sister-in law Rosalia, brother-in-law Robert Morocco, and cousin, aunt and great aunt to many.
Passed quietly in her sleep at the Massapequa Center Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center April 18, 2020.
Throughout her life a healthy, vibrant, outgoing, loving and giving person who would light up a room with her warmth, contagious laughter and welcoming arms. Deeply devoted to her family, a supportive wife for her husband and his work, and loving mother, great and grandmother. She will always will be remembered for her vitality, her stories, her holiday dinner parties, her Neopolitan cuisine, and the great pride she had for her former homes in Brooklyn, Bethpage and Farmingdale.
We sorely miss her huge presence in our lives and the strength and courage she has inspired us with.
Rest In Peace Gloria . Heaven awaits your great smile and laughter and your reunion with Mike, Mary Ann, Robert, Vita and Modesto and your mom and dad !
