Fitzgibbon, Gerald F., 91, of Hicksville, passed away on January 6, 2022. Retired letter carrier icon and shop steward of the Levittown Post Office. Proud Korean War Army Veteran. Jerry was honored to be an integral part of the biography about comedian Paul Lynde (His Life, His Love(s), & His Laughter), and to be a public speaker at the book signings. Loving husband of the late Patricia. Cherished father of Patricia Pugliesi, Cathy Rudolph, Maureen Stockberger, and Eileen Ruggiero. Admired grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In recent years he enjoyed the love of Estelle Claudy and her family, Larry and Joan Berger. The family will receive visitors Sunday, December 9th, 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral procession leaving for interment with military honors at St. Charles cemetery Monday, January 10th, at 11 am.
