Genowefa Wajda

Genowefa Wajda, age 94, passed away on Sunday, March 17th 2024.  She was born 5/31/1929 in Poland, a daughter of Andrzej and Kazimiera Wilk. Genowefa was preceded in her death by her 7 siblings and her husband Augustin Tluczek. She later re-married and was preceded in her death by her second husband Stanislaw Wajda. She is also preceded in death by her son Kazimierz Tluczek. Loving mother of Janina Daszykowski (John) of Farmingdale, NY and daughter in law Maria Tluczek who lives in Poland. She is a cherished grandmother of Agnes Storrings (Harley) of Coral Springs, Florida and Martin Daszykowski (Tammy) of Clearwater, Florida, Agnieszka Fortuna (Miroslaw), Izabela Frelek (Piotrek) and Marzena Nieradko (Grzegorz) of Chicopee, Massachusetts. She leaves behind 11 great- grandchildren named Christian, Caty, Grace, Hope, Faith, Mateusz, Kamil, Adrian, Madzia, Emilka, and Kacper. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends in Poland that will miss her.  She was a member of St. Killian’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed to cook, bake, garden and enjoyed to crochet. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Arthur F. White Funeral Home on Thursday, March 21st from 9 to 10:30am with a Funeral Mass to follow at St. Killian’s Catholic Church at 11 am. Cremation private.
