Eleanor Mary Moore

Eleanor M. Moore (nee Delfino), passed peacefully from this earth, on Monday, August 3, 2020, at the home she shared with her daughter, Patricia. She was 86 years old. 

Eleanor was born September 8, 1933, to her parents Albert and Frances, who proceeded her in death. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a long-time resident of Old Bethpage. She lived a full and happy life. Eleanor loved the many friends she had made throughout the years in her neighborhood, at Bingo, or at local stores and restaurants. She was loved by many. 

However, it was her family that was the most important part of her life and for whom she would do anything. She was proceeded in death by her long-time partner, Edmund Garant, who surely greeted her in heaven upon her arrival. She was the loving mother of 3 children, Kevin, Patricia (Krupa), and Bob (Scott Wise) all of whom she spoke of continually with never-ending love. She was the proud grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, James, and Danny. She was equally proud of her five great-grandchildren Matthew, Lucas, Grace, Emery, and Rowin. Eleanor was also the beloved sister to Richard Delfino (Louise), and aunt to one niece and three nephews.

The family will receive visitors Thursday, August 6, 202, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Service Friday, August 7, 2020, 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram.
