Fabrizio, Daniel A., 58, of Smithtown passed away unexpectedly with his loving wife, Diane M. Seghposs on May 14, 2023. Adored father of Stephanie Spratt (James), Jessica Vannucci (Mike), Victoria (Anthony) and Sophia. Beloved son of Leonard and Ann and step-son to Joel and Judy. Dear brother of Marc Siegel (Abby) and the late Leonard III. Treasured uncle of Lauren, Matthew, Andrew (Heather), Josh, Rebecca, Brianna (Austin Replogle) and Madeline and great-uncle of Brady, Molly, Brynn and Landon. Cherished brother-in-law of late William (the late Barbara), Elizabeth Konen (Robert), the late Carol Bava and Ronnie Tohme (George). Dan was anticipating the arrival of his first grandchild and was excited to become a grandfather. Daniel was strong-willed, determined, detail oriented, and passionate. He was a computer engineer for many years and had an appreciation for how things worked. Dan could figure out how to fix just about anything. He was passionate about working on his Cobra and Packard, and bringing them to car shows. Dan’s favorite thing to do was spend time with his girls, especially playing sports in the backyard, going to Sal’s for dinner, and training/participating in duathlons with them. Dan took pride in landscaping his yard and liked to watch all his flowers come to bloom. Diane and Dan were truly best friends and they complimented each other perfectly. They did just about everything together: car shows, bike rides to Jones Beach, feeding the wildlife and traveling. A memorial service for Dan and Diane will be held Sunday, May 21st, 1-5 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Dan’s memory to the National Wildlife Federation; NWF.org.
