Obituary

Laino, Bonnie J., 74, of Levittown, passed away April 9, 2023. Beloved wife of 57 and a half years to Paul J. Laino, Jr. Loving mother of Lisa Every (Ray), Kim Gentiluomo (Anthony Ingemi) and Paul. Cherished grandmother of Danielle Boucher (Dave), Brittany Stromberg (Carl), Kristen Martin (Ruben), Thomas Martin (Vanessa), Mason and Alexa. Adored great-grandmother of Alexia, Isabella, Declan, Lucas, Axel, Caylen, Mya and a baby boy on the way. Predeceased by her sister Antoinette Morena. Dear aunt of Dawn Bradley (Bill), Karen Morena and John Morena, and great-aunt of Adel and Liam. Treasured friend to many. Dedicated “Cat-Mom” of Rudy and Cooper and “Bird-Mom” to Rocky. Bonnie lived for her family and for her animals. She was a loving, soft spoken, genuine, caring, giving lady, who would do anything for anyone. Bonnie was a devout Catholic and prayed continuously for those in need and for those who predeceased her. She worked for many years at Pathmark and enjoyed catching up with them for lunch. Bonnie was a fantastic cook and baker, she made infamous rice crispies, lemon marang pie and chocolate rum cake. Her ideal meal was Italian food, pignoli cookies and white zinfandel. She loved to be outdoors and enjoyed being out in the fresh air. Bonnie was a cosmetologist for many years and a skilled seamstress, making beautiful dresses and sweaters for her family. She loved roses and also enjoyed knitting and coloring in her free time. Bonnie was a real-life angel on earth and will be truly missed by all. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, April 12th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage.
