BEN MARRONE 

JUNE 8, 1930 – AUGUST 5, 2023 

Ben Marrone, age 93, born in Brooklyn and raised and thrived in Bethpage, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Devoted husband to Ann, with whom he just celebrated 58 years of marriage and raised three daughters: Carmela (pre-deceased by Alex), Rose Marie (Peter), and Anne Marie (Joseph). Proud and respected grandfather to Joseph, Nicholas, Anthony, Dominick, Graceann, Sara, Sophia and Deanna. 

Visitation will be at Arthur F. White Funeral Home in Bethpage, New York on Wednesday, August 9th and Thursday, August 10th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Roman Catholic Funeral Mass on Friday, August 11th at 10 am at St. Martin of Tours Church in Bethpage will be immediately followed by an entombment at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York. 

Ben, known to many as "Benny", will be remembered as a strong, resilient, honest, smart, resourceful, hardworking, respected man who cared deeply for his wife "Nina", daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren. He was a master tool and die maker who believed in the honor of hard work, the importance of saving for a rainy day, the authenticity of stepping up and doing what needed to get done, and the liberty an education provides. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you join us in celebrating the love, life and memories we shared with Ben in the same manner as we so often did...by gathering with your own families around a dinner table. In Ben's honor, please have a toast to what he loved most: being surrounded with great food, family, friends, and endless conversation. We know this would bring him great happiness.
