Donald E. Bonge

Bonge, Donald E., 75 of Farmingdale, NY passed away January 11, 2020. Donald graduated from Plainedge High School and went on to serve in the U.S. army and was in the Vietnam War. He was a very proud American and Veteran. He was a skilled wood worker, carpenter, and  helped build houses with his father. He then spent his career working for IBM. He was a loving husband, proud father, uncle, and grandfather, and friend. He was always there when you needed him. Incredibly generous with his time. He wanted to take care of everything for everyone he loved. He could fix anything and everything, cars, houses, electronics. He was smart and skilled with his hands. He had a great sense of humor and  always made the people around him laugh. He had two of everything and every size battery you could ever need. He was a Disney lover, a dog lover, and would light up at the sight of of his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his wife Judy, his children Jennifer (Robert), Brandon (Kristin), Eric (Heather), Mike (Dawn) and Tim (Jennifer) his grandchildren; Sean, Averie, Mickey, Georgia, John, Ariana, and Shelby, Brother, Steven, predeceased by his twin sister Patricia Marfoglio. Visitation Tuesday, January 14th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, 315 Conklin St, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Wednesday, January 15th, 9:45 am at Maria Regina RC Church, Seaford. Private Cremation. There will be a gathering at funeral home Friday, January 17th at 11:30am. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Long Island National Cemetery.
