Alfred A. Galgano

Galgano, Alfred A., 93, on December 2, 2018. Reunited in heaven with his beloved wife of more than 60 years, Ellen. Devoted father of Victoria Szalda (David) and Alfred (Nancy). Proud Grandpa of 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. WW II Purple Heart Recipient, retired 30- year Assistant Principal with the NYC School System. He enjoyed tennis, golf and the beach. Visitation will be Sunday, December 9, 2018, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Monday, December 10, 2018, 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church, Bethpage, followed by interment with military honors at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside.
