Stanley Mazza Obituary

Mazza, Stanley, 89, of Huntington, formerly of Copiague, passed away March 8, 2024. Beloved husband of 67 years to Catherine. Loving father of Anthony (Lisa) and Donna Risolo (Charles Seminario) and “Dog-Dad” of Luigi. Treasured Pop of Stephen (Aggie), Michael (Ilyssa), AJ, and Samantha Bell (Colin). Adored great-grandfather of Angelina. Dear brother of Rose Shea. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Proud United States Airforce Veteran, serving in the Korean war. Stanley had a presence about him, he was classy, honest, handsome, quick witted, wholehearted and an overall great person. Although he was kind and loving, don’t dare cross him or his family or you will meet another side that you do not want to see. Stanley’s family was his pride and joy, but his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dog, Luigi, were the light of his life. He enjoyed building model airplanes, painting pictures, hunting, cooking, and gardening. Stanley loved to be outdoors and looked forward to every moment spent with his family. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. The family will receive visitors Monday, March 11th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Tuesday, March 12th, 10 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Interment with military honors following at Calverton National Cemetery.
