Frances R. Jacoby

Jacoby, Frances R., “Fran”, 84, longtime Farmingdale resident passed away March 20, 2024. Loving wife of 63 years to Stanley. Beloved mother of Cathy Willemsen (Jim), Maria Messina (Phil), Jennifer Nicholes and Beth Burton (Bryan). Cherished grandmother of Megan Nicholes (Christopher DeSimone), Olivia Messina, Bryan Burton, III and Thomas Burton. Dear sister of the late Dr. Paul Colletti (Shannon). Fran graduated from nursing school and worked as a nurse for many years. Her compassionate, friendly, loving nature allowed others to feel comfortable talking to her, which made nursing the perfect career choice. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting, and crafting. Fran was infamous for her cooking, especially her family’s favorite, stuffed artichokes. Her family made her world go round and she made sure to be a large part of their lives. Everyone always felt welcome in Fran’s home, where she loved hosting holidays with her family and making memories together. She was a special person who helped many people throughout her life and she will be forever missed. The family will receive visitors Friday, March 22nd, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Saturday, March 23rd, 10:30 am at St. James RC Church, Seaford. Cremation Private.
