I worked with Patty in The Mounted Unit. I was very sorry to hear of his passing. Patty always had a funny story to share. He was responsible for getting me in the escort for in my first St. Patrick's Day parade with the Mounted Unit. I will always remember him laughing and chomping on the cigars. God Bless.

Paddy was truly one of the "good guys". I have great memories from working with him. I can still hear some of his typical comments. Even the guys he collared outside the Garden thought he was always fair and made their time with him "fun".

I thought of you with love today
but that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday
and days before that too,
I think of you in silence
...I often speak your name
All I have are memories
and your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake
with which I’ll never part
God has you in His keeping
I have you in my heart.

With hearts broken we pray for peace dear Uncle Patrick
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
And until we meet again May God hold you in the hollow of his hand
